I have had a blast these past weeks shooting some of the coolest families around, so I thought I had better start posting some favourites. Enjoy!

Michelle and Jeff
As Jeff waited patiently for Michelle to arrive he tossed his Bulldogs football from one hand to the next. After building a life together and raising two beautiful children, the time had come for this lovely couple to confirm their love and committment to one another in front of an intimate gathering of family and friends. Nothing to be nervous about right? Wrong! They were both so nervous - which was the sweetest thing cause it shows that they still make each other's heart skip a beat!
Their evening ceremony was held at the picturesque Nurrangingy Reserve, and after a very quick round of photos they hurried off to celebrate at the Cumberland Golf Club. Dinner looked scrumptious!
It is always so special to be asked to capture a couple's wedding day, and this was no exception. Thanks Michelle and Jeff, we hope that this is the start of a new chapter in your lives that is full of happy memories, joy and love. Congratulations!

Brody at Two: it's all about cars
I love the fact that Brody sleeps with a car in each hand every night. It's our nightly ritual to decide which two are the 'chosen ones' before hopping into bed. Even when he ends up in our bed (every night lately!) his little buddies come too. Sometimes I wake in the wee hours of the morning to realise that I have Lightening McQueen doing laps across my chest or up and down my arm. I wanted to capture his love for these special friends, so after a recent shoot I plonked him infront of the black backdrop and took 3 shots before he sped off which is perfect because I recently bought 3 new frames for his room! I wonder how long it will be before I get around to printing and framing these images? Kirrily... can you remind me next time you see me?

Those Crazy McRedmonds...
Now, I can say that cause Alison and I are cousins and best friends. But, it's true, they are crazy! Crazy in a good way, a great way; they are so much fun to be around and life is never dull when we spend time with them. That's why I was looking forward to this shoot so much. I knew it would be awesome!
When I arrived at the McRedmond mansion the tiny people were still asleep. Normally that's not a problem, but light was fading fast due to a massive storm approaching. We made do, though, with the handy, dandy lightsphere. Considering we had little or no natural light left to work with I am really happy with the shots we got. I hope they are too. (PS, it aint hard to get a good shot of these people. Aren't they a spunky bunch?)

Have a great weekend everyone,

I love this last shot. These two are made for each other - truly, madly and deeply. They have been through so much lately and yet the energy they give off is so positive, happy and real. That's why I love them .
Our latest news... Kirrily and Nathan have recently moved house and are busy preparing it for Christmas... and their beautiful daughter Juliet's first birthday! So life has been pretty hectic for the Rodwells lately! Tomorrow I am going to try to catch up with Kirrily to gather some of her latest images and post them here on the blog. You can look forward to viewing some of Kirrily's images in the week ahead.
I am about to finish a product shoot for Bullet Eyewear. This range is hot! If you are mean and tough then you need a pair of these sunglasses. TRUST ME! Girls - these would make great gifts for the man who has everything...

Have a great weekend everyone,
Carley
Introducing Miss Bailey
I've known Bailey's dad, Brad, all of my life. Our parents are, and have always been, very close friends and I guess we consider each other to be family. When Brad and his wife Lisa announced the birth of their sweet baby girl I couldn't wait to meet her - and of course I was secretly dying to take her picture! So, when Brad and Lisa asked me to capture some special memories for them I was overjoyed. Little Bailey was not having a great day, but you would never know from looking at the images. Here is a teeny, tiny sneak peek...

Our next post will feature my crazy, late afternoon shoot at the Mc Redmonds. It was a whirlwind session and lots of fun, stay tuned for some of my faves.
